Meet Our Orthodontists

Service Dog

Luna, affectionately known as “Dental Dog,” joined the Cuozzo team in 2021 as Dr. Pat’s diabetic alert dog. While Luna’s primary job is to assist Dr. Pat, she is also a great source of calm for some of our more anxious patients. Luna loves people and is happy to sit next to your chair if you are nervous. When Luna is not working, she enjoys chewing on her bone, playing with her canine sister, Penny, swimming in the pool with her human sisters, and having the zoomies (in the office at the end of the work day and at home). Luna is a certified good girl!

Registered Dental Assistant, Office Manager

Alison first came to Cuozzo Orthodontics as a patient of Dr. Pat’s—and later joined the team as a part-time junior dental assistant while still in high school. Now with the practice for over 15 years, she serves as both our Office Manager and a Registered Dental Assistant.

Alison is cross-trained in all areas of the practice, including clinical care, finance and insurance, treatment coordination, and scheduling. Her comprehensive knowledge helps keep our office running smoothly and ensures patients have a seamless experience from start to finish.

What she loves most about her work is helping patients become their best selves by achieving a confident, healthy smile.

Registered Dental Assistant, Clinical Manager

Judy has been in the orthodontic world for 35 years. She began working at Cuozzo Orthodontics in 1994 as a part-time registered dental assistant. After her children entered elementary school, Judy began to work full-time and eventually took on the role of clinical manager, and more recently, daily operations coordinator. Her favorite part of her career is mentoring and teaching the junior assistants and interacting with patients and parents. She finds it very rewarding to organize and implement systems and watch the office run “like a well-oiled machine.” In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, gardening, and small home improvement projects.

Treatment Coordinator, Registered Dental Assistant

Jennifer has been a part of the Cuozzo team since 2000. She worked as a front desk receptionist for many years before deciding to go to school to become a Registered Dental Assistant.  After working in the treatment room for several years, she became our Treatment Coordinator; a role in which she can combine her extensive knowledge of orthodontic treatment planning, finance, and scheduling in order to provide our patients with a seamless consultation experience. When you come to the office for your initial visit, Jennifer is one of the first people you will meet!  Jennifer says, “My favorite thing about my job is meeting and connecting with new patients while helping them learn more about how orthodontic treatment can benefit them. I hope to be here to help our patients for many years to come!”

Administrative Assistant

Lynne joined our team in May 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience in corporate planning and organizational coordination. Since transitioning into her new role, she has embraced the opportunity to support the practice by keeping schedules aligned and ensuring the office runs smoothly—ultimately helping to create a more seamless experience for both patients and their families.

Residing in Aberdeen, Lynne enjoys spending time with her “core four”: her husband John, their two daughters, and their dog Bailey. Outside of work, she finds balance through Pilates, reading, and the occasional reality TV or true crime documentary binge.

Lynne is grateful to be part of such a positive and supportive team and looks forward to continuing her contributions to the practice and the community it serves.

Financial Assistant

Kate joined the Cuozzo team in August 2024 as our Financial Assistant, bringing with her several years of experience in both insurance and customer service. In her role, Kate helps patients begin their smile journey by coordinating financial and insurance arrangements, scheduling appointments, and guiding them through the initial steps of treatment.

Her favorite part of the job is helping people—she enjoys interacting with new patients, being part of their first steps toward treatment, and continuously learning from her teammates. Kate is dedicated to supporting our doctors and fellow team members to ensure every patient has the best possible experience.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Kate refereeing soccer games in local towns on the weekends, spending time with friends, relaxing with a good TV show, or enjoying a book.

Receptionist

Cheryl joined the team in 2024 as a receptionist, bringing with her over 10 years of customer service experience. As the first and last face patients see during their visit, she is dedicated to creating a positive and welcoming experience from start to finish. She finds her role at the front desk incredibly rewarding, as it allows her to help people every day and be part of their journey to a healthier smile.

She is eager to continue growing in her role and hopes to expand her skills on the clinical side of the practice in the future.

Outside the office, she enjoys hiking through Hartshorne Park with her Black Lab, Dallas, fishing on the Shrewsbury River with her husband, Taylor, and duck hunting with both of them in South Jersey.

Receptionist

With a warm smile and a love for helping others, Sam is often the first friendly face you’ll see when you walk into our office. She especially loves working with kids and takes pride in making every patient feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they arrive.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, hanging out with friends, and relaxing with her two dogs.

Registered Dental Assistant

Beth joined the Cuozzo Orthodontics team in 1988, bringing with her five years of prior assisting experience. As one of the practice’s longest-serving team members, she brings exceptional orthodontic knowledge and skill to her role. Beth plays a key part in training junior assistants and ensuring high standards across the team.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Beth serves as the practice’s inventory manager. She researches and implements new products, helping to keep Cuozzo Orthodontics at the forefront of the orthodontic field.

Beth lives in Howell with her husband of more than 40 years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her three grandchildren.

Registered Dental Assistant

Kayla joined the Cuozzo team in 2024, bringing with her a unique background as a former Manhattan hairdresser. After many years in the beauty industry, she transitioned into orthodontics, a field she has now been practicing in for over five years. Having personally undergone treatment with both braces and Invisalign, Kayla draws from her own experience to guide and support patients throughout their smile journeys. She finds great joy in encouraging patients and watching their confidence grow with each Cuozzo smile.

A Long Beach Island local, Kayla has a passion for music and frequently travels across the country to attend music festivals. Outside the office, she can often be found relaxing on the beach with a book, walking her dog, or enjoying live music on the West Coast!

Registered Dental Assistant

Lluvia became a member of the Cuozzo team in 2024, and she truly loves what she does! She finds that helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles is incredibly rewarding, and enjoys being part of each patient’s journey—watching their progress, celebrating their results, and knowing she played a part in their transformation.

Professionally, Lluvia is focused on growing within the office by continuing to build her clinical skills. Her long-term goal is to take on a lead assistant or training role where she can support both the team and the overall patient experience.

Outside of work, Lluvia enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends, and exploring new spots to eat and relax.

Lab Technician

Chris joined our team in May 2024 as our Lab Technician. His role is a very important one; he not only handles all of the 3D model printing and retainer fabrication for the office, but he also works with four outside labs to facilitate the creation and transportation of our patient’s appliances, ensuring that they are ready to be delivered on time. In his role, Chris has discovered a strong passion for problem-solving, finding fulfillment in navigating challenges and improving processes within the lab in order to better serve our patients.

While his long-term goal is to build a career in the music industry as an audio engineer, Chris has found a great home at Cuozzo Orthodontics. He’s excited to be part of a team that’s focused on quality, growth, and making a difference, and he’s proud to contribute to that mission every day.

Outside of work and music, Chris enjoys the simple things in life—like a good cup of coffee, movie nights, gaming sessions, or spontaneous adventures with his partner and friends. He’s all about enjoying the little moments while staying focused on big goals for the future.

Dental Assistant

Ana joined the Cuozzo Orthodontics team in 2021. Her interest in the dental field began in childhood during visits to her dental hygienist, which inspired her to attend vocational school for dental assisting and pursue a career in dentistry.

Since becoming part of the Cuozzo team, Ana has developed a strong passion for helping people through dental care. This passion motivated her to continue her education, first earning her Dental Radiology license, and now attending Dental Hygiene School as a full-time student.

Outside of work and school, Ana enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to sing—so if you ever hear singing around the office, it’s probably Ana!

Dental Assistant

Olivia joined our team in 2024 after completing the Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology Program at Ocean County College. Her passion for orthodontics began in her teens when she worked after school as a Junior Dental Assistant at her orthodontist’s office.

Eager to grow in the field, Olivia is currently studying to obtain both her Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A.) and Registered Dental Assistant (R.D.A.) credentials.  She enjoys learning from the senior RDAs and doctors and takes pride in helping create the awesome “Cuozzo Experience” for every patient.

Her number one goal? Making sure every patient feels comfortable and leaves with a big smile. When she's not in the office, Olivia loves spending time with family and friends, training for CrossFit competitions, or hopping on a flight to explore somewhere new.

Dental Assistant

Jesenia is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for helping people smile. She got her start early, attending Ocean County Vocational Technical School while still in high school, where she discovered her love for dentistry and hands-on clinical work.

She enjoys creating a positive, welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Whether she's prepping a set-up or chatting with someone who’s feeling nervous in the chair, she’s all about making people feel comfortable and cared for. She loves being part of a team that transforms smiles—and confidence—one patient at a time.
